Cookies

Some of the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want are stored based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e. g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Purpose-restricted Use of Data

We observe the principle of earmarked use of data and collect, process, and store your personal data only for the purposes for which you have given it to us.

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or for the execution of the contract. The transmission to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information also only takes place within the framework of the statutory information obligations or if we are obliged to provide information by a court decision.

Right to information and right of withdrawal

You will receive information about your data stored by us free of charge at any time and without giving reasons. You can have the data we have collected blocked, corrected, or deleted at any time and object to the anonymous or pseudonymized collection and storage of data for the purpose of optimizing our website. You can also revoke your consent to data collection and use at any time without giving reasons. To do this, please send an informal message by post to the contact addresses given in the imprint:

In Germany to: NKD Deutschland GmbH, Online-Shop, Bühlstraße 5-7, 95463 Bindlach,

or by E-Mail to datenschutz@nkd.com.

After receiving your objection, we will no longer use, process, and transmit the data concerned for purposes other than processing your request.

You have the option of an online objection at https://www.nkd.com/de_de/kontaktformular

Contact Forms

If you contact us by e-mail or contact form, the information you send will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for other possible follow-up questions.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose of data processing no longer applies (e. g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Whistleblower System

The NKD Group GmbH, Bühlstraße 5-7, 95463 Bindlach, is the responsible body for the processing of the personal data of the users of the whistleblower portal. We collect, store, and use your personal data only in accordance with the content of this data protection declaration and the applicable data protection regulations, particularly, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national data protection regulations.

As part of the provision of the portal, we use the whistleblower system of the service provider Vispato GmbH, Hansaallee 299, 40549 Düsseldorf, with whom we have concluded an order processing agreement.

Information on data protection at Vispato is available at https://www.vispato.com/de/fragen-und-antworten and at https://www.vispato.com/de/datenschutz.

A report via the whistleblower system can be made completely anonymously, so that no conclusions can be drawn about the person. Furthermore, the message is stylometrically adjusted, this means all punctuation marks are removed, and all words are written in lower case, so that an identification is additionally excluded. All information is encrypted end-to-end. No personal data, such as IP addresses or location data, are stored on the servers hosted by DATEV.

If you nevertheless provide personal data, such as your name, on a voluntary basis, the personal data will be processed based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The processing takes place solely for the receipt and clarification of the suspicion and the information is deleted after the purpose no longer exists.

When using the portal, further, server-related data may arise, with the proviso that the function of the portal is limited solely to the reporting of suspicious cases and no tracking services are used on the information portal or cookies are set in any other way.

Online Application Tool

You can use the online application tool for a quick and easy application. Of course, we only use the information you send us in the online application form to process your application and only pass it on within the NKD Group companies.

Your contact and application data will be stored by us for the duration of the application process. Your application data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the end of the application process unless you arrange for a free deletion.

We use an encryption process for the online transmission of your applicant data so that your information is protected from unauthorized access. Please note that applications that you send us by e-mail will be sent to us unencrypted. We therefore recommend using the online application tool.

As part of the provision of the online application tool, we use the service provider HR4YOU AG, Ulbarger Strasse 52, 26629 Großefehn, with whom we have concluded an order processing agreement.
